Sointula is an isolated village on Malcolm Island in British Columbia, Canada. Lying between Vancouver Island and the British Columbia mainland, northeast of Port McNeill and not far from Alert Bay. We acknowledge that BCMAS is located within the unceded Kwakwaka’wakw territories of the ‘Namgis, Kwakiutl, and Mamalilikala Nations.
Lifelong partners, Karen and Allen Kaeja, share an intimate rendering of life together in dance and marriage. Still dancing in their 60's, their duets embrace artistic excellence and the agelessness of life and love.
